Sol's Pipe and Steel Helps NY After 9/11, New York City
Called Sol’s.
To expedite the clearing of rubble and debris after the terrorists' attack on New York City, the city needed to build piers on the East River where material could be moved from truck to barge. To achieve a solid foundation for the piers, the city called on Sol's Pipe & Steel. Sol's promptly responded, delivering eight 40-foot sections of 4-foot diameter steel pipe that helped the city begin its long and successful road back to recovery.

Sol's Pipe and Steel Helps New Orleans
  Sol’s comes to the aid of New Orleans after Katrina.
After Hurricane Katrina plowed into New Orleans causing levees to break and flooding huge areas of the city, Sol's Pipe & Steel was called on once again. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers called on a Friday, and Sol's Pipe & Steel worked through the Labor Day weekend to deliver a total of eight 50-foot sections of 42-inch diameter pipe to pump water from the city at the 17th Street levee.
